Entertainers
Featuring both new and returning faces, we're truly blessed with five great concerts for this year:
Imakhu
Joining us from New York, Imakhu Mwt Shekemet brings her own original and traditional songs and stories from the African diaspora. An elder and teacher in the Kemetic path, she is a prolific author, speaker, musician, dancer and artist, with works ranging from Understanding Kemetic Magick and The Cowrie Blessings Book to her CD Water Woman: Organic Flow, the Nubia Goddess Rising podcast, and her television show Ashe!
Jenna Greene
Jenna is a singer-songwriter inspired by hope and healing, following bliss, nature mythology, the law of attraction and the little miracles in everyday life. She believes that music, nature and ritual are an empowering combination and a life-changing force. Her debut Celtic CD, Crossroads, was released in 2008 and she is currently working on her second album, Wild Earth Child.
Black Bear Moon
Experience the rhythms and songs of West Africa with the Black Bear Moon Rhythm Ensemble. Highly dance-able, uplifting renditions of traditional West African music, weaving together timeless melodies, ancient rhythms, imaginative arrangements and skillful playing, on the djembe and dunun drums, African flute, balafon, and more.
Featherscale
Featherscale plays original Pagan rock with undercurrents of blues, metal, and Celtic folk. Songs from their debut album Topaz Stars in a Violet Sky and earlier solo album Imbolc and Ice have been featured on popular podcasts such as Pagan FM, Deo's Shadow, and Lance and Graal. The band is currently recording a new album due this summer.
Brian Willowfire
Brian Willowfire is a singer/song-writer who joins us from Norfolk County, Massachusetts. Brian performed at last year’s NH PPD and opened last August in Salem, MA for Wendy Rule during her Harvest Concert. A Sagittarius (fire) sun with a Cancer (water) moon create the energy behind the name Willowfire. His original music is sung from the heart with an emotionally driven fire.
