Supporting ASP
As of March 28, 2011 A Sacred Place is recognized as a non-profit charitable trust in the State of New Hampshire. Our next step is application with the IRS for an ID number and full 501(c)(3) status, after which donations will be tax deductible. Our legal department is currently working on this. We wish to thank the community and our friends for their encouragement and support as we navigate this transitional time.
We rely on support from the community and welcome donations of time, money, and/or materials that will help us improve and expand our ability to serve.
For those who wish to help ASP financially, we currently have several levels of sponsorship - many of which carry benefits like free or discounted admission to official events. You can learn more about sponsorship by clicking here
If you would like to volunteer your time, we are always looking for help. Volunteer jobs range from kitchen help or manning the registration tent at events to yard work and light construction. Please email us at ASPCanaanNH@aol.com for more information.
Our current building projects include outbuildings to house livestock, festival comforts such as a stage and improved dining area, and blazing trails through the many acres of woods. We also envision a future with greenhouses and a bathhouse with composting toilets. We welcome any materials that may help us, such as lumber or cinderblock, windows, or any number of other supplies. Please let us know if you have leftovers you would like to donate.
